We're just putting a mattress on the floor and going from there. Check IKEA, though - they have cute beds.

  • A coworker just went to Big Lots, spent $200 on a twin bed, mattress, and box springs and her 2 yr old loves it.
  • Just a cheap low to the ground wood frame IKEA and a firm cotton futon style mattress. We spent about $150.

walmart online has alot of descent ones that fit with your crib mattress.

we looked instore at Lullabye lane and liked their toddler beds but they were a bit on the $$ side.

the ikea ones use only ikea mattresses, and I didn't like their mattresses as much as our crib mattress.

so for now, we're waiting to put up the toddler rail on Belle's crib, it's only a matter of time, as she can climb in, just hasn't figured out the climb out yet.

but we're ready. and when we need one, we'll buy a toddler bed from walmart online. (our house is too small for a twin bed in her bedroom just yet)

  • Despite my opposition, we bought the Step 2 adjustable race car bed. It can use a toddler mattress and a twin. I am convinced DH wanted it more than Ty ; )
