Wonder Pets

Ok, talk to me about the Wonder Pets. I put this show on a couple of times, and everytime they were like little weirdos and I had to veto it and shut it off.

I mean, cute little animals, that talk in cute little voices and some even had a lisp. Then they go and help save other animals. Totally cool aspect.

Well the episode I was watching had them running outside and peeing behind rocks and trees and making ::sighing:: noises as they let it out. Then the hamster was like "Ahhhh...it feels  so good to pee." WTF? I had to LOL but still... then they all ran over to the hose to clean themselves off.

Another episode they were singing about rubbing their bum on this egg. Me & My older DS (7yo) just start laughing , call them weirdos and shut it off.

Re: Wonder Pets

  • LOL - I've never seen those episodes. Usually, they rescue an animal (which involves problem solving and teamwork) and if they're in a different country, there will be some sort of fact or cultural tidbit thrown in as well.

  • DD isn't really interested in TV, but she seems to like the Wonder pets.  I've never seen the peeing episode. Sounds pretty weird.

  • OMG- I found the part I was talking about on youtube. Apparently, they were trying to help the dog get out the doggie door to go pee.

After they wash off, the hamster breaks out some celery and says " Celery is great after a good pee." No. Friggin. Lie.

  • I'm with you, I've only watched it a couple of times and I just find it annoying and a little weird.

I've never seen that one.  DD loves it though and we watch it almost every day.  I think it's cute, but for some reason the sea lion one is starting to bug a little bit.

hahha. I have never seen this episode...that is crazy.  At least they washed their hands before they ate the celery.

  • Wow... I need to pay closer attention to the WP's!
  • I love that show and think it's cute!
But yeah-- that episode you directed us too is a little weird.?
I guess they were just teaching the doggy to go pee, but the celery part could have been left out. LOL!
  • ha. Tam- i just love your descriptions

    Ditto this.

And, Sean puts The Wonder Pets on Saturday mornings.  Honestly, I think it's more for him than for Ben.  Seriously.
