Favorite places to take your kids in MKE area?

I grew up here in Milwaukee, so I'm familiar with all of the big places like the zoo, but are there any less-known places that you love taking your babies or older kids for day trips or weekend outings?

    Apple Holler is kind of fun.  It's on 94 on the way to IL.   It's not far from Milwaukee.

    I have been trying to get to Cool Waters in Greenfield Park for a swimming day.  I have heard that they have a nice baby/toddler area.
