interlock care?

i feel like someone said you can machine wash interlock?  so far i only have one soaker, and i handwash it.  i'm thinking of getting marlee some pants for fall/winter pjs.  do they need to be lanolized?

I hand wash, for the most part.  It's nicer to the fibers than machine washing.  Besides, I lurrrrve my wool wash -- how it smells, how it moisturizes my hands, and how soft it makes the woolies.  I use Northern Essence liquid, if that helps.
