Pregnant after a Loss

Can Baby drop at 26 weeks?

I've been carrying high and he is breech. When I woke up this morning it looked like my stomach had deflated and he's down really low.  I can barely feel him kick because I have extra weight in my lower stomach and I've gone from hard kicks to feeling little pokes because of it. I don't think he turned head first, since I'm still feeling kicks really low, so I figure he must've "dropped" or he's just hanging out really low.  Weird.

  • Very well could be just extremely low. I'm not sure on when they usually drop, but you could very well be just carrying him lower....he's probably trying to find more room to grow! =)

  • They don't really drop untill a couple weeks before labor begins...typically around 38 weeks. He may have just shifted positions, etc. there is actually still quite a bit of room for him in there at 26 weeks!
  • my baby girl has been head down and low since week 25...i guess they are all on their own schedule.
