FINALLY on this board! Yeah!

History: TTC since May 07. After countless IUIs, we finally did IVF Jan 09. At 8 weeks I had emergency surgery to take out my right fallopian tube that the unknown twin had lodged itself in. Then at 10 weeks (March 16, 2009 to be exact) there was no heartbeat with my "original." Even though it was the depths of despair for me, I just wanted to know "when can we do it again."

And then our own little miracle occurred:

My doctor kept telling me "stranger things have happened..."

During the first month I ovulated since the D&C, and the month my doctor was just monitoring me, we actually got a BFP....ALL BY OURSELVES!!!!!

Now I know for some of you who didn't have to try for over 2 years or didn't need help in conceiving, this may sound silly, but I am hoping there are some of you out there in Bump Land that appreciate how exciting it is to be able to say that! )

SO I am CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC about my pregnancy. We went to the doctor today and saw a sac and a flicker of a heartbeat....so I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best.

People think the 2ww is a hard one...I am starting my 4 to 6ww.

Congratulations and Welcome! What an amazing journey, I found out I was finally pg again on our month break before IUI, it will be exactly 3 years of trying when our LO is born!
