Heard the HB with Doppler

I ordered it on Thursday night and it was here today! I knew I would be able to hear it b/c I was at my OB today and they heard it. I told her that I bought one and she said, 'oh be careful...you don't want to get your hopes up, you won't be able to hear it until about week 20!!" Well, she is was wrong, I had almost no trouble finding it, and when I did, I almost cried. I know I should have waited til tomorrow, but I just couldn't.?

?She said there is absolutely no harm in doing it daily. So that made me feel even better.?

    How fun!

    Week 20... you can hear the HB with a stethoscope by then! There was a device that came out for home use before the Dopplers, maybe she thought you had one of those - I don't think they worked as well.

    Yeah, she is an idiot. She keeps forgetting that I am a pharmacist and explains meds to me as if I were in kindergarten. She is the one OB ?in the practice that I pray not to have.?
