Question about carseat bases

Hey ladies!  I've been doing a little price comparing between BRU and Buy Buy Baby, and I noticed that the Graco carseat bases are much cheaper at BBB than at BRU.  I am registered for a Graco travel system, and am wondering if any Graco base will fit any carseat, or if they are all different?  I would really like to register for the bases at BBB but I don't want to do so if they won't fit with the travel system I'm registered for.  I hope this makes sense, I'm feeling a little spacey today!

    it should state on the listing which ones they are compatible with. I know the snugride and snugride 32 carseats fit in the same base, but beyond that check with the store, they should know

    So the graco snugride 32 fits into the regular snugride base?  Dang..I had no clue.  We have the snugride 32 and got an extra base specifically for the 32 because they have a seperate one.  Unfortunately it's also a little bit more expensive.  I really didn't know the two different carseats fit universally into the one regular base.  Sigh..
