Does anyone take their baby to the daycare at lifetime? My baby is almost 3 months and I would like to utilize the daycare but I'm wondering how safe and sanitary it is. I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
We used to be members years ago but I'm looking at signing up again so I went for a tour today to the one in Troy. I looooved the day care area, especially compared to others I have seen (I wouldn't leave my dogs at the YMCA!). Have you been there to look at it and have them answer any questions? I'd be curious to what others think but as far as looks, I liked it.
Sadly, we are no longer members, but will return in the near future. Because of the economy, we cut costs and switched gyms as a result. However, we were long-time members and began taking our son as an infant. The staff is adequately trained and is very attentive to every child. We were given a pager to wear upon request in case our baby needed to be changed or started crying. I know they will try to console crying children for 10 minutes prior to notifying the parent(s) if you prefer. My experience was at the Shelby Township location. I'd like to think it's safe and sanitary. There is hand sanitizer available in every corner at the child care center. Good Luck!
We didn't use the nursery side of it, but DS (age 5) goes and plays for hours and doesn't want to leave. He loves it and has never gotten sick from being there. They have a pretty strict policy regarding runny noses etc. and the staff is always so nice (we have been to Shelby and frequent Rochester).
