Switching to Huggies?

Well, I think it might be time I switched to Huggies. Swaddlers keep leaking and I think it is because she is so active and moves all over the place.

 There are so many types out there, what do you recommend for best stopping leaks? She is leaking both poop and pee out of swaddlers, and it has nothing to do with the size--they simply don't work anymore. I hear bad things from everyone about Pampers Baby Dry, and I think she is too small for cruisers. What do you recommend? I know I need some elastic on the back of the diapers for sure!

I would suggest the Huggies Supreme (in the dark red packages). I have never tried the ones in the white packages, but I hear those suck. The supremes do have the elastic on the back, plus a little flap that's supposed to keep blowouts under control. We've had pretty good luck with those (although the 2's fit her weird until just recently), and you can get them way cheaper with all the coupons that are out for them pretty regularly.

We've had pretty good luck with Pampers Baby Dry at night, though they are super swelled up by the time she wakes up, if she STTN. I'm pretty sure both Baby Dry and Cruisers start at size 3--I've got a package of both in that size. I know the Baby Dry doesn't have elastic on the back, but not sure about the Cruisers--haven't opened them yet.

I read your post below about why you were selling diapers and we have been having similar issues because his poos are massive!  We always had leaks in regular Huggies when he would pee, but I have found that the new Huggies Naturals held in all of his poo and we did not have any pee leaks either.  The gussets are higher than on Pamper's so I think that is why they worked better.  I still like Pampers better overall, but for your sizing delima you might try the Huggies Naturals  

Oh and I HATE Luvs.  I can't remember who else said something about it, but they smell horrible like urine and make me sick.  blech!  They also run significantly smaller than the others, at least in my experience.

We just started using Huggies Lil' Movers (when we're not in CD, which has been a lot lately!). They are AWESOME! The elastic is great, side gussets are tight, I'm really digging them.

We switched to Huggies Supremes about a year ago b/c she kept having poo leaks out of Pampers Cruisers.  I hated Huggies when she was a baby but maybe I had the cheaper ones that someone gave me.  I really like the Supremes and we use Huggies Overnights for night time.
