How long does it take for your milk to completely dry up and stop "leaking"? I have officially stopped (very sad and tough decision) BFing. It was too much to formula feed, pump, and BF my LO. He was fighting me and kept latching off and not getting enough of the little milk that I had. My breasts didn't even fill back up after he fed and that's when I decided it was just best for him to have formula. I am wondering how long it takes? I don't want to wear bra pads forever!  TIA!

You may want to visit a Lactation Consultant...some of your understanding is a misperception of how your body works. GL.

If you are still interested in BF, I would meet with a LC or LLL. It sounds like you are just a little confused on how BF works. I think you would still be able to make it work!
