teething & diaper rash

My DD cut a tooth about 5 days ago.  3 days ago she started with a diaper rash (I don't know why, but I freak out about diaper rash) and it just seems to be getting worse.  It just so happens that 3 days ago I gave her yogurt for the first time.  She's milk based formula fed and has been for 6 months now, so I don't think it's a dairy thing.  What are your thoughts?  How bad have your LOs diaper rashes been when they cut teeth?

Sorry if I'm being obsessive, I just hate diaper rash and do every thing I can to prevent it, so I get worried when she gets one.

My DS is teething really bad, this week he got his first fever and diaper rash ever.  The pedi told me to use triple paste, it started clearing up right away.
