I posted a couple of weeks ago about a will. DH and I ended up making a joint living trust on Legalzoom. It was pretty easy. We got it via FedEx today. It is in a fancy binder with a little plaque with our names engraved on it. (Not what I was expecting) Now we just have to get it notarized. 

I feel better now that it is done. I just wanted to let y'all know that so far we have been very happy with legalzoom.

I get legal documents for free though my work so they did my will, but yours sounds awesome! I want my name engraved

We *still* need to desperately do this, but have been putting it off forever. Thanks for the information about LegalZoom though.

We went almost a couple of years after Zane was born before we finally did our wills. It felt so good to get that done!

That's awesome! One word of caution, Texas does not recognize joint wills. If you are married, you must each have your own will. This is unique to Texas and I found out the hard way when my Dad died. He and my mom had a joint will....and I had to jump through all kinds of legal stuff to get it all worked out! Hopefully the online site will catch that....but just in case it doesn't, you guys will know!

Good to know. We will be living in CO in 17 days, so hopefully that isn't an issue. We'll have to remember to have that checked out when we move back.
