So  my ex has tried to contact me several times over the last six years since we've been seperated.  I moved away from home to get away from him.  Met my DH here in Tx and have clearly moved on with my life.  He's tried to contact me on my space, he somehow found my e-mail addy ( a different one than my old one) and tried to contact me through yahoo messenger, he submitted a friend request via facebook.  All attempts I've ignored!  Today he sent me a message via fb.  I've talked about it with DH and he dosen't seem phased that x is trying to contact me, and tells me I should responde so that x can see how great my life is. 

However x is those type of people that just create drama everywhere they land!  He always thought I'd never be as happy with anyone else as I was with him.  There is a part of me that wants to respond just so that he can see that I'm much happier than I ever could've been, but then there is the part of me that is afraid that that he will try to convince me otherwise.  And though that won't work anymore I don't know that I want the drama.  kwim?

Go with your gut - don't respond.

All exes are dead to me. Ignore him, delete the fb message; stuff like that is best left in the past.

I would keep ignoring.  Any kind of attention (even if it is to throw it in his face) is what he wants.

reply to the recent one and say thanks for his concern, but that you have a wonderful life now without him and would like to keep it that way and wish him the best. hit send. then block him from everything.

I would ignore him. You dont want him 2 have anymore info about ur life than he already has......

i would ignore. even if you send a note to blow him off, that just tells him that you say/read his message and will encourage him to keep contacting you.
