My DD might possibly be colicky and my dr recommended I try to concentrate on what I eat in case what I am eating is causing my DD all of this distress. Dr recommended eating a bland diet...any recommendations/suggestions?
The three most common problem foods are dairy, wheat and soy. It's tough, but if you think she has a problem, eating a dairy/wheat/soy free diet for two weeks will most likely let you know if your diet is the issue.
The minute I stopped eating all dairy products was the moment my son went from a gassy, hysterical baby to a nice calm one!
I eat lots of fruits, veggies, and protein...apples, carrots, celery, peanut butter (lots of it!), chicken, corn, blueberries, raisins, prunes, hummus, chick peas...be sure to look at the ingredients list on crackers, bread, etc to see if there are dairy products in it. I specifically have to stay away from milk.
Eating isn't as fun as it used to be, but I've been dairy-free since 3 weeks so I'm used to it now.

This may be a really dumb question...
If you have to cut out dairy while breestfeading (which I did), does that neccessarily mean you child will have an allergy to dairy?
I don't think so.
