AW: weight gain!

Just wanted to say that we had Jackson's 2moth check & shots...our boy is10lb 8oz! I knew he felt heavier, but he has seriously gained 5 1/2 pounds since coming home 7 weeks ago. Unbelievable. They still want him on the darn neosure for two more months but we did start zantac for his reflux. If we aren't seeing a noticeable improvement in 2 weeks then we will address the formula issue again. So mostly good things. The shots sucked but he has been asleep most of the day thanks to tylenol. He was also on track for developement milestones...except the social smile & "cooing" though I feel like we are so close to reaching those! Can hardly wait!

That's amazing weight gain!  Congratulations!  It's so wonderful to know that you're doing things right and your baby is thriving.  I hope he continues to grow well and be healthy.  I hated fortifying the breastmilk with formula for the extra calories, because it was a pain to have to pump and do bottles, but it's a good thing.  Good luck with the reflux.  We had two meds for our little girl for reflux and neither one seemed to do much good, it was very frustrating.
