I just started donating to the Mother's Milk Bank of Denver. I had to go for blood tests on Tuesday and I brought in about 200 oz. that I had frozen. They had me sign consent forms that they were going to send to my OB and our pedi. When I went for my blood tests, they gave me a bunch of small glass jars that screw right onto my pump. When I have some accumulated, I just call them and they will send an employee to my house to pick it up.
They were all about not inconveniencing me, meaning they said they will never call me and ask if I have any milk and they come to me to pick it up. There are a bunch of rules that aren't typical of BF, such as I can't give them milk that was pumped within so many hours of taking certain drugs (i.e. Tylenol, Advil, etc.) and you have to wait 12 hours after drinking alcohol. There are a couple of other rules, but I didn't think anything was out of the question and it definitely won't deter me from donating.

I also donated through the Mother's Milk Bank and it was a great experience. They didn't give me glass jars, but 4oz plastic containers that I portioned my milk into. It was a positive experience overall, and it's awesome that you're able to do it!
