Popping in for an update!

This place is jumping lately and I am keeping all here in my daily prayers!!! We have been incredibly busy, but in a good way and I have not been on in almost 2 weeks! So much is going on.

We are working on finishing the room, the walls and flooring are done, and the closet is painted, now all we need to do it install the closet organizer. My DH did the chair rail and baseboard trim with our friend and it came out awesome! I am really proud of him. I did the painting.

Last week, my DH's mom came to help, and while she literally gave me a severe migraine ( not kidding we did get all the clothes washed in Dreft, folded and packed everything and we created a new closet for DH since he gave up his closet in the baby's room. Since we don't have furniture yet, I filled a wash basket with all of the clothes we need for travel, all packed in ziplock baggies. We have 3 cats and I don't want them near her clothes! I also picked up one of those storage cubies with the canvas totes inside, as temporary drawer space to store stuff until we get the dresser. I can use them as book shelves in the future.

We got our crib last week too, but it still needs to be assembled! We need to hustle, as we are going to be traveling to meet the B-mom in 2 weeks! Everyone is telling me to be prepared , just in case she delivers while we are there. She is getting close, and is very big. She and I spoke for 2 1/2 hours Tuesday night and she said the baby is really active and keeping her up all night. She is technically due on Aug 25, but she went early with her son...so we shall see
