Please recommend your crib/toddler bed mattress

Hi ladies. For DD, we registered for a 2-in-1 mattress (one side for the crib (infant stage) and the other side for toddler). It was expensive and we're hoping to find something much more affordable this time (hopefully under $100) that will be a nice mattress for baby and toddler stages. Does anyone have any suggestions of what's worked nicely for you? Thanks so much!

Honestly, we went ahead and got DD#2 the same (expensive) mattress as DD#1.  It's the two-in-one type with foam on one side for the infant and springs for the toddler on the other side.   I figure I sleep better on a good mattress so they probably will too.  Not sure if we'll get a new one for DC#3 or just reuse DD#1's or even DD#2's since the girls are moving into "real" beds before this one comes..

We got a Serta inner spring mattress for DD and DS. It was about $100 at BRU.
