  • Let's dream a little.  Do you have potential names picked for your future child?  What are your favorite names?

    Girl:  Elle, Kate

    Boy:  Landon

That's all we have so far...LOL.

I didn't O after my Chemical Pregnacy and I don't think we will TTC next month since we have appt with RE on Aug 22.  So we are waiting to meet up with the expert.

    Boy:  Not sure

Girl: Genevieve or Vivienne or Giada

Don't forget those updates.  Who is in the 2WW?  Me I am in 2ww

When are you planning to test?  Aug 4
Whatever you want to talk about!

I forgot to test on Sat with the CBEFM, DH was at work anyway, but it is still giving me a high reading and I already O on CD12, today is CD14. we had sex so much this cycle, we haven't had this much since we conceived DS

  • Let's dream a little.  Do you have potential names picked for your future child?  What are your favorite names?

    Boy: Maxwell or Theodore

Girl: Molly, Margot or If you ask me Betsy (DH Hates it)

DH did the hokey pokey last night for the first time in weeks..yay! (He couldn't before but for some reason last night it all worked!!) He also started on HCG (Pregnyl===we have decided funny name for a drug to get prego shouldn't it be like Pregyeah! OR Pregpos) to increase stimulate is testicles to start doing there job.

    good luck to all!

"Onward"--CathyMD Waiting since 07/5/2011 for our forever child! Yep we are adopting!
  • UPDATE:  I am in the 2WW.  I'm bordering on being late.  AF was due yesterday and no sign of her.  I tested Tuesday, yesterday and this morning...BFN.  But, still no bloating and very little cramping.  In other news, I've been out of work (got laid off) for 3 weeks now.  It's weird being home all day.  I'm hoping to find work soon, even if the pay stinks.  We're trying to add to the baby fund and pay off DH's car, and it's hard to do that if I'm not working.

QOTW:  Let's dream a little.  Do you have potential names picked for your future child?  What are your favorite names?

I have a list of about 20 names for each...DH has nixed some of them, but we do agree on a lot of the girl names.  The boy names, not so much.  But, he doesn't want to narrow it down until I'm actually pregnant.  We'll probably have two or three names picked out and wait to name him/her until we actually meet him/her.  I like classic names like Elizabeth and Sarah or Daniel and Noah.

  • First, Baze, your post cracked me up.

Update: I am in the 2ww. I am sure my enemy AF will show up like always and then on to clomid & IUI next cycle. I am excited to be trying something new.

QOTW: We haven't talked about names at all. I am one of those people who thinks I will somehow jinx myself if I plan for the future. For example, I didn't think about wedding planning at all until the day I got engaged. I know I am weird!

    QOTW:
Let's dream a little.  Do you have potential names picked for your future child?  What are your favorite names?

My names change all the time.  If I have a boy I would love to name him George after my grandpa but I'm not sure my husband is down with that.

Girls names change all the time.  I'm reading this book and one of the characters names is Lesiel...I really like that name but when I asked my husband if he liked it he said 'what weasel?'  So I'm assuming that means no.   Confused

  • Hi ladies!

Update: I just got AF yesterday after a weird cycle of plummeting temps and one extra day to my LP (included spotting but it was lighter than last month). So I'm onto cycle #4. I added extra B6 to my vitamin stash and ordered some pre-seed. That's my plan for this month. Fingers crossed!

Dream a little...: DH and I have not discussed names at all. For a boy I would like something that is different but not too out of the ordinary. Also, prefer something that cannot be 'nicknamed'. So, something like Shane or Seth. But we haven't even talked about it.

For a girl, I would like to use names from my grandmother's side of the family. My family is from France so we have names like Adrienne, Genevieve, Sophie, etc. My great grandmother's name was Anastasia, I'd like to consider that too.

Hope everyone has a great week. Looking forward to some BFPs for those of you in the 2WW!!

    Nikki

  • I'm in the 2WW, AF is due Saturday and I'm praying she doesn't show.

  • I'm 10DPO (yes, I tested bc I'm crazy- BFN).

    Boy: Jacob or Zachary

    Girl: No idea.

  • waiting to O.... I think this will be another annovulatory cycle, or I O'd yesterday... not sure yet LOL   I have my second interview today!

Boy will be a Jr after my DH, actually a third since DH is Jr.

    Girl, not sure...

BTW - Baze, there must be something in the air.... My DH has stepped it up too LOL!

  • DMD1029 - 38, DC; TTC since 7/07 (damn that's depressing!)

I've been trying to steer clear of any name discussion until we know we have a little one to name!  Plus, I know that it is going to be a contentious discussion with DH - we both feel strongly about the people that we would like to name our children after.

This was our first IVF cycle.  I was on the highest dose for microdose Lupron flare and produced 3 follicles, but only 1 egg.  The transfer was supposed to be today, but has been moved to Saturday.  This has been one of the most rollercoaster weeks of my life!  It really sucks that adult beverages are not allowed right now!!  I could REALLY use a glass (who am I kidding...a whole bottle) of good red wine right now!!

  • Hi, Everyone!

Dreaming a little: A girl would be Violet Grace. Violet because there are five different kinds of wild violets growing in our woods, and we love them. And DH gave me an African violet on our first date. Grace is for his late, beloved grandma.

A boy: Still thinking about that one.

Update: DH had his second SA today. Earlier this week, I had my ultrasound to follow up on the clomid challenge. I only had one egg, but it was a really beautiful one. Alas, we have to avoid pregnancy this month because of that dang rubella shot I had to have. On Aug 6, we have our "planning" meeting with the RE to go over all results and come up with a game lan.

  • Please add me:  JillAly - 41 - NYC - TTC #2 since 7/09 (although my appt with RE isn't until Aug.  I guess I still have hope the old fashioned way will work but know that isn't realistic)

I haven't "consulted" with dh about names this time around but we both loved Katherine for a girl.  I love Colin for a boy.

3 IUI's and 2 IVF's later- Brady arrived. Born at 36 weeks after PUPPS and pre-e/HELLP.
IUI- BFN IVF #1 -BFP! Allie is our 2nd IVF baby. Born at 36 1/2 weeks after pre-e again

  • I have an infertility consult in August with my ob/gyn, but he not an RE. I'm considering making an appt with a infertility clinic. I'm trying to research what insurance will pay cover -- which isn't much apparently. ?

AF came yesterday and good two days early dashing my hopes for this cycle.

Right now during every 2 WW I refer to the imaginary baby as IZI (pronounced Izzie) --- ?Imaginary Zygote Inside.?

For a girl, I also like the names Katherine (Kate) and Avery a couple of family names

For a boy, I don't know. Maybe Daniel or Brody. Boy names are hard. ?

    ?

  • QOTW:
Let's dream a little.  Do you have potential names picked for your future child?  What are your favorite names?

We've talked a little about names, but don't want to get into it too much...I want to name a girl Gertrude after my late Grandmother, and boys are up in the air.

Update: Had my ER today...12 eggs! I'm excited about that but now the worry begins for how they fertilize!

  • Yep...in 2ww.  I plan to test Aug 2 secretly on 12dpiui.

Let's dream a little.  Do you have potential names picked for your future child?  What are your favorite names?

    For a girl: Emily Katherine

    For a boy: Aiden Joseph

TTC #1, Cycle 22 - Jan 2009 IUI , Femara & Follistim: 7/21/09: BFN Multiple rounds of Clomid June 2012: Decided to move on to IVF after 3 more rounds of Clomid Sept 2012: Got a call from a friend asking us to adopt her baby

Yes, Aidan James or Aidan Thomas and Brady Thomas for a boy and Alexa Grace and Taylor Noelle for a girl.

DH doesn't agree with the first names so this is just my wishful thinking and current favorites.

  • QOTW:

Honestly, apart from a random thought such as "that's a nice name" I never think about it.

    Update:

We are having an IUI this cycle, likely around cd18.

  • My hcg levels need to get to a 2, and this Monday they were at 45! Last Monday it was almost 600, so 45 sounds great to me. I saw my RE today for the follow-up appointment after the D&C. It was mostly a "How are you doing emotionally?" check up which was nice. I took two birth control pills today and will finish the pack in the next few weeks. After that period, we're good to get the Femara started again and start trying again!

We started dreaming about baby names when we got the BFP and started making lists.

    Boys: Nicholas, Zachary, Benjamin

    Girls: Allison, Victoria

I know there were more names on the list, but it's upstairs and I am too lazy to go get it!

  • QOTW:  I don't know what our next child will be.  We followed the Greek naming tradition with DS, so that was super easy.  I guess we'll actually have to have a name discussion with #2.

Update: I'm 3dpiui, started my progesterone suppositories last night and have been testing out my trigger shot.  The test this morning still said pg, but it took quite awhile to pop up, so the hcg should be almost out of my system.  I'll be testing next Thursday at 10dpiui.

Dream...I like classical names.  Benjamin, Zachary, Gabriel (is that classical) for a boy, Katherine, Victoria for a girl.

  • Good morning everyone!

Well, I am hopefull right now.  I have finally started seeing some lines on my OPKs.  Far from being positives, but at least they are no longer snow white!  So I guess I am waiting to O....I would love for it to happen around August 14th so I can conceive on hubby's birthday, but that is awfully optimistic lol.  I have cycles that average around 36 days and have yet to have one since I had my son in April so I guess I am waiting on a whole bunch of things!

QOTW:  Yep, we have names picked out, we picked in December of 2007 two of our favorite boys names and two of our favorite girls names - we are always on 'team surprise' so we don't know what we are naming the baby until he/she arrives.

We like fairly common names for boys, such as Jason, Brandon and we just named our son Nathan.

For girls I like older names like Hazel, Ruby, Vivian etc.

  • AF came. :/  I know we haven't been trying long, but I was really hoping for this past cycle for a silly reason... being able to walk in law school graduation with the baby. :)  It's a tradition at my school to do that with any children who were born during law school.  Actually, I'd probably still be able to do that if I get pg this cycle, but it would be tight.
