I was so swollen when I was pg with dd... it was so bad that I couldn't bend my ankles and it hurt so bad. It started above my knees and went all the way down... so I looked like I had no knees or ankles.
The awful nasal congestion. ?I couldn't breathe out of my nose from about 12 weeks until the day after I delivered. ?They had to get me nasal spray in the delivery room so I could breathe to push
My worst side effect was the awful carpal tunnel syndrome I had at the end of my pregnancy. My hands were so swollen and hurt so bad I had to soak them in ice water every day. Ugh... I was not expecting that!
The heartburn was really killer. I couldn't even eat anything containing tomatoes, or rich like brownies, nothing fun at all or I was dying! And that was while I was taking Zantac. Ugh.

Back-ne is my favorite. Never had acne as a teenager and now that I'm preggers its like I've got a pizza on my back. TMI, I know, but just a forewarning to any lurkers out there - pregnancy is not always pretty! I really wish it would go away, I'm like 7 weeks away from delivery!

Me too -- I swelled at 12-13 weeks really bad and didnt go down until about 3 weeks after Alex was born. I was miserable. My feet grew 2.5 - 3 shoes sizes and went from a regular to a W-I-D-E!

I had face acne, neck-ne, back-ne, and belly-ne. (Seriously...who gets zits on their BELLY??) I was about as sexy as they come.

Any magical cures???
Childbirth, and the return of my BC pills... wish I had better news :-(
I think the worst thing for me was the terrible exhaustion in the first tri. I did have some pretty bad RL pain, but I think the exhaustion was the worst. Good thing it only lasted the first couple of months.
Ditto! And ditto just about everyone else. First Tri exhaustion was so bad for me. Luckily DH and I work at the same place and he was able to drive...i slept to and from work the entire first trimester. backne was terrible! round ligament pain. and my tummy muscles stretched so far (i carried really low the entire pregnancy) that i could hardly lift my legs at the end of the pregnancy to get dressed. i had to sit down and lift my legs with my arms. so that made recovery hard too because they didn't just come back right away..i had to work to get those muscles back.

I had really bad pelvic pain (the pubic bone to be exact) toward the end of my pregnancy. NOTHING would ease the pain. Once I went into labor the pain just went away.
Oh, and also the horrible crotch pain the last few weeks, if I walked, rolled over, pretty much anything. Felt like I was either riding a horse for days on end or had been hit in the crotch with a baseball bat (I am not exagerating!).
The sniper leg cramps (have had those both pregnancies)...getting huge, swelling (haven't had too much swelling YET this time) and just being uncomfortable the last couple of months. I'm also having more crotch pain this time b/c I'm carrying lower.
The leg cramps that woke me up in the middle of the night and the heartburn oh the heartburn! And my emotions.. I cried a lot more. The smallest thing, that normally would not bother me, sent me over the edge...way over the edge.

TMI alert!!
The added weight caused huge vericose veins in my hoo-ha! It was very uncomfortable and sex was quite painful for me for most of the pg.
The worst for me was the Carpal Tunnel. My Rt hand was completely numb...and apparently it can stay permanently!
I now need surgery-boo!!!
The first tri exhaustion and acne EVERYWHERE also sucked and was unexpected!
Oh yeah! That was the worst!

Sciatica.
& the swelling. MY GOD, the swelling. My feet look like loaves of bread by 9:30am & I've resorted to wearing compression hosiery in the summer. HAWT.
