Those with twins then singleton

What is your stroller situation?  My guys will be 2.5 when the new baby comes, but I'm thinking they'll still be in a stroller.  We're thinking of just getting a single s-n-g but if I go out by myself, I'm trying to figure out how to do it besides wearing the baby.  Just curious what others have done.  Thanks!

Re: Those with twins then singleton

  • We have the Graco Duoglider (which I'm this.close to putting on Craigslist) and this weekend we just got a Babytrend Expedition Double. We also have a Jeep Single jogging like stroller and a single Snap N Go. When I go out places by myself with the kids I will sometimes wear Logan on the hip hammock and put the twins in the stroller but if we go grocery shopping or to Target then I put the twins in the big 2 cart thing and the baby's car seat up on the seat part on the cart. If we go to a playground or something like that I can just put the baby in the single b/c the kids usually walk/run there. Good luck- feel free to email me if you have any questions or need any advice :)

  • We have the Valco and I've considered getting the toddler seat or the hitchhiker board.  I haven't taken them all out by myself so when we have gone out as a family we've used the Valco for the older boys and a SSNG or the Bjorn for the baby.  When we go to the pool we put the older boys in the wagon and put the baby in a Chicco umbrella stroller.

If we go to Costco or Wegman's they have the carts for two children so we use that then Bjorn the baby.  There are several options depending on where you are going.

  • I almost never use my stroller anymore, because the girls prefer to walk, so I'm hoping to be able to get away with alternating which one of them walks whenever we go somewhere, and avoid the triple stroller.
