Vaccines with fever?

Eli is supposed to have his 18 month checkup today and get shots, including the MMR.  He's had a fever the past couple of days.  I'm not sure if it's teeth or viral, but I'm thinking fever=no shots right?  Even if they would, I'm not sure I'm comfortable with that.  I think I'll reschedule the shots.

    I'd definitely reschedule the shots.  Many vax injury cases have been when the child was given shots when sick, even something minor. :(  Go with your gut!  I hope he feels better soon!

    I wouldn't be too worried if it was just a cold, but would probably reschedule for a fever since you don't know what might be wrong and wouldn't want the fever to get higher from shots.

    They'd probably still give them to him, but I'd reschedule if he already had a fever.  Especially for a shot like MMR, since it's a live virus, you'd want his immune system to be in good shape for that one going in.
