Pedi recs in Dallas

I met with doctors at both Pediatric Associates of Dallas (Dr. Dreiling) and Pediatricians of Dallas (Dr. Yaeger). ?We liked them both. Anyone have experiences with either offices/doctors?

Thanks!?

Re: Pedi recs in Dallas

  • We see Dr. Foster at Pediatric Associates of Dallas.  I LOVE him and the office.  I have also seen Dr. Finkleman, Dr. Brown, and one other Dr, but I can't remember his name.  I always get a same day appointment when my son is sick (or I think he is... I do that a lot).  Sometimes the appointment is before I would even be able to get to the doctors office.  I love that they have hours until 9:30 PM five days a week and sick hours on Saturdays.  I also like that there is 3 locations (2 in Dallas right next to each other and one in Plano).  The nurses are very helpful through the nurses line and call back very quickly.  I have not seen the doctor you mentioned through PAD.  Hope this is helpful.

  • We see Prestidge at PAD, I don't care for Dreiling but it's a personality conflict. I will also see Foster, Finkelman, Hubbard, or Dennison.
  • We see Dr. Dunlap of PAD.  My sister sees Dr. Dennison and LOVES him.
  • We see Dr. Hayes at PAD and have seen Dr. Dunlap and Dr. Finkleman. Just like PP said, same day appointments for sick, nurses are helpful. We use the Plano office and have only been to the Dallas office once.

  • We see Dr. Dreiling.  On a personal level, I like him a lot.  Recently, I am wondering if I need a pediatrician with a more alternative/crunchy philosophy.  Dr. Dreiling is not this.  But I will reiterate that that is my issue and our difference.  From a medical and personality stand point, I like Dreiling a lot.  If I didn't have slight questions about AAP suggested vaccine schedules, and other common medical practices, I would have no complaints.  And at PAD - the nurses, administration, waiting rooms, policies, nurses line, etc have all been great.  I hope this makes some sort of sense.
  • Thanks ladies! ?I appreciate your input. ?I am thinking of going with PAD especially since there are so many docs even if I decide to switch docs. I also like that it seems that their nurse line is answered by their actual nurses so a nursing service like at Pediatricians of Dallas.
