Infant Loss Support Groups

A close family friend and a girl that my mom mentors lost her baby yesterday due to SIDS at 6 weeks. My mom is helping her plan the funeral but asked me to find some resources. Does anyone know of any support groups in the area? They live in Garland (right off of George Bush), so they can get just about anywhere.

To find your pm, click on the picture over your name in a post, go to "My Friends" then click on the messages tab. I am sure there are other ways to do it, but that is the one I know.

No suggestions, but I'm so sorry for your friend. I can't even imagine going through that. I hope she can find a good support group to help her get through this tough time.

Thanks for the help. I've compiled it all and given it to her. My mom and the parents of the baby went to the funeral home today to plan the funeral, something I hope I never have to do.
