2. Heighth "What is the heighth of that bookcase?"
A friend of mine that constantly goes on about finding information in his fancy dictionary was pissed off when he could not find "heighth" after I told him there is no such word. "I know it's in here!!!!"
3. Krogers "I am going to Krogers, do you need anything?"
Unless you are referring to a person with the last name Kroger and you are on your way to their house, please say "Kroger". The store is Kroger, not Krogers or Kroger's.
Thank you to the person who posted about "supposably."
It's supposedly. Supp-os-edly. Say it with me, folks.
The one that I see ALL the time is "suppose to" -- It's supposeD to. It is never, ever appropriate to write "suppose to." You can suppose something but ... forget it. You catch my drift.
Not that I expect everyone to know this but while we're at it, you drive FARther and look into something FURther.
I, too, am highly annoyed by farther/further confusions
Re: If you write "could care less" ...
I hope you meant you are too dumb to be pregnant!
Here are a few of my least favorite things:
1. Acrossed "I walked acrossed the street."
No. You walked across or you crossed, not both.
