Help!

I swear I know how to put on a diaper but for some reason, when DS tinkles it always seems to come through onto his clothes and or swaddling blanket, sometimes on me too. I pull the side snug and make sure the legs poofy things are out. He's about 7lbs, 3oz so I don't think he needs preemie diapers.

Anyone have issues with this or have some advice? I am at a complete loss.

This.  I had the same problem with DS when he was little.  This helped tremendously.

This was always happening to us with my older son....the only diapers that worked for him were huggies.  So when I found out we were having another boy I stocked up on huggies!!!

We were having this issue with the newborn diapers, but once we moved up to size 1s it stopped since they're more absorbent.

He was circumcised about 3 days ago. God I feel stupid even asking this, but is it OK to point his penis down while it's still healing? It seems like that would hurt him.

I am definitly going to go guy huggies!

I don't think pointing up or down makes a difference to his healing circ. ?Pointing down always looks the most comfortable to me, so it should be fine. ?And FWIW, we did great with pampers. ?
