Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Which stroller would you recommend

Hello MOMS!!

I am a new mom-to-be. ?I am totally overwhelmed with a stroller decision. ?I do not want a travel system. ?We go for long walks several times a week and from the little experience I have they will not work for me.

With that said. ?Looking back with your experiences what stroller do you have and would you recommend it? ?Looking for one with options for LO from birth on...

Thank you so much! ?I know you are all very busy.

  • We have a quinny buzz.

  • We have the Kolcraft Contour Options three wheel. I liked it for when she was little - it comes with a car seat adapter, and it also can face towards you and away. The basket is huge, and the wheels are great for the city. If I could do it all over again, though, I would have splurged for the Quinny Buzz. It is better quality, and I just like the style better. It has the option of using the car seat adapter or a bassinet, and it can also face towards you or away.

Now we have the Quinny Zapp, which is nice for an older baby. It also comes with car seat adapters, but it only fits the Maxi Cosi infant seat. I love it, and I really have no complaints.

  • We had a snap n go that we used for the first 5 months.  I loved the convience of it.  My rationale was that it was only $50 and if I decided I needed a big stroller, then I would feel like I wasted a ton of money.  We switched to a Maclaren at 5 months and love it.  It's light weight and doesn't take up a lot of room in the back of the car.  Totally worth the money IMO.
  • I started off with the snap & go stroller which was great for the beginning.  A couple months ago we got the baby jogger city mini.  I love it.  It is 16.8 lbs and can fold up with one hand.  It manuevers very easily.  you can purchase a car seat attachment, but since I had the snap & go I never bought it.  It does recline all the way down, but I'm not sure how well a newborn would fit in it.  DS looked tiny in it when we first got it.  It took me forever to decide on this stroller and I am so happy with it.

  • BOB revolution with the infant seat adapter... you will love it for all your long walks.

  • Bob Revolution.  Had a Baby Trend Expedition, and it was a piece of crap!!
  • We have two and I love them both.

We have the Maxi-Cosi Perle, which is an umbrella type stroller that you can fit their Mico car seat into without buying anything extra. I love this stroller for mall trips and things like that. The rain shield that comes with it works really well. DS's favorite part is the footrest; when he is asleep you can raise it so his legs aren't hanging down.

My favorite stroller is the Bob Revolution. It works so much better then any other one that we tried; we can go well on grass, over gravel, stone paths, etc, with almost no effort. There is an attachment you can buy that would allow you to put LO's car seat on the stroller when they are little.?

  • We have a BOB Revolution and love it!  We started with the Snap-N-Go system and maybe used it 5 times total.  It was a waste of money for us b/c DD hated being in her carseat.  So, we usually wore her in the Bjorn or just carried her (which was a PITA 'cause she got so heavy after a while).

Had I known about the BOB with the infant carseat attachment, we would've gone with that from day 1.  It's amazing, turns on a dime, super smooth ride, goes over bumps, through sand, cracks, hills - you name it.

  • We have a Stokke Xplory. It's awesome. I love that DD is so close to me at all times. She loves that she can sit up and look around. We get compliments on it all the time. We take long walks every day, we take it in the car, it has plenty of storage below, but we attach the diaper bag which gives us even more space. It's an all around fantastic stroller. If we got pregnant again right away I'd buy another one!!
  • Just wanted to say I have Graco Metrolite and don't love it.  I don't hate it, but I don't love it.  I'm looking at Maclarens on craigslist as we speak.  If we ever manage to have a second baby, I plan on getting Bob Duallie.  I'm going to spring for it.

  • Another vote for the Baby Jogger City Mini.  I have the Chicco Trevi and infant seat and it was great when dd was little but once we got rid of the infant seat, we hated the stroller.  I've had the City Mini for about a month now and I love love love it.  Huge shade, awesome/easy fold, and super easy to push.
  • I have the Peg Perego Pliko.  It's pretty good.  I am not totally in love with it.  It is kind of heavy, and my husband has yet to figure out how to open and close it.  Other than that, it's pretty good.  I like that my DD h=can recline far back and be very comfy.

  • Baby Jogger City Elite.  It's about the size of the BOB Revolution but the easy quick fold of the City Mini.  It carries weight up to 75 lbs and you can attach a toddler chair to hold two.  For little babies, you can use the carseat adapter.  It rocks.
