DS is being difficult

he is sleepy, won't let me hold him to go to sleep, and now he is throwing pacis out of his crib one by one.

Re: DS is being difficult

  • When Lili does that, all that I can do is put her in her crib and close the door. I choose not to put the pacifiers back in more than once because she turns it into a game.

I feel bad that he is sleepy but won't sleep (been there done that) but I had to laugh imagining the pacis being thrown out of the crib in protest.

I do this too.  I only go in once and give him back his binky and his bear, otherwise he'll play his entire nap time.

  • DD does something similar.  When she starts to throw things or slap me/the crib, etc. I leave the room.  She usually passes out w/in 1-2 minutes afterwards.  I think its just burning off steam/tired frustration, and leave her to work through it.
