Sister drama, WWYD?

I haven't spoken to my youngest sister in months.  I have really forgotten what we were fighting about.  I've called her, she won't answer my calls or return my messages.  I've emailed her, no response.  The most recent contact on my part was FB messaging her to get her new address so I can send her one of W's party invites.  No response.  I know she got the message because she said something to my mom about it.

The saddest thing is, she's W's godmother, and he loves seeing her.  Like I said, I've forgotten what the issue was.  I'm pissed and upset.  I don't know what to do now.  Every attempt at contacting her has been ignored.  Do I just give up?

Wow, that's tough. How would you feel about asking her to respond to you for Will's sake? It's a shame that the two of you aren't speaking, but the bigger shame is that she's missing time with Will that she'll never get back.

Things are like that with me and one of my sisters.  I'd give up.  It sucks but you're making an effort to contact her and she's being a b*tch about it.

Can your mom talk to her?  Just tell your mom you have done everything to be able to talk to her with no luck.

My mom is not getting involved.  Which is as it should be.  I don't want her getting in the middle of it.

Ditto!  It sucks but it is worth it.  My dad's sister did this to him and it was a nightmare for the whole family.  We were all very glad when she finally would talk to my dad again.

I would not want to get her involved, but at some point it might not be a bad idea, bc she is your mom (not a stranger) and that might be the only way to get it resolved.  it's just a shame!  so sorry that you are dealing with that.

I know if my girls weren't talking I would want to know and I def would try to mediate as best as I could.

Yeah, my mother thrives on drama.  Her getting involved would only make things worse.
