I have never used bumGenius. The FuzziBunz work very well, and they have a trim fit. I also prefer snaps over velcro because my kiddo can get the velcro diapers off.

Do all the FB have a trim fit or are there certain ones with the trim fit? Sorry if that is a silly question...I'm new to this.

Don't be embarrassed! It's not a silly question at all.
I have only used the sized FB, not the one size, so I am not sure if the one size is trim or not, but the sized is, at least for us. I'm sure one of the ladies on here can help, though!
Tough call. I really love both. I have more BGs than FBs, but I really like both a lot. I would have to say I prefer my BGs because I'm a big fan of their one size fit (I've heard not so good things about FB's OS diaper). But I dont think you can go wrong either way. For realz.

I'm really wanting to stick to One Size since I'll have two in diapers...seems like it would be the best route?!?!
SFL. I have one BG 3.0 pocket, a BG organic, and a sized FB AIO. I love the softness of FB. I am waiting to see how DDs skin reacts to the material. I really really like them. The nastiest poop just comes off like it was never there. I am on the fence with BG 3.0. I do not care for the bulk in the crotch area, the aplix seems to roll inward against her skin, and I cant get DDs shorts on over it if I use an insert with it. I love the organic BG, so trim and absorbant, but the price tag is not ok with me.
I have tried both and the only pockets I like at all are FB. I am really not a fan of BG pockets at all.
If I were you I'd buy one or two of each and try them out. It's really hard to tell what will work best for your baby w/o trying them out. Every kid is different so different diapers work for different people.
If BG would come out wiht a freaking snap version of their pocket, I'd say that one. But the aplix issues we've had (no sticking, curling so it rubs against DS's stomach or leg, his being able to take it off, etc) make it a no-go for me.
We have been using the FB medium since he was 3m old (~15 pounds). He's 9m now, and I don't see him growing out of them any time soon. So even though it's technically a sized diaper, I consider it as good as our OS dipes.
I like the BG more than the FB. The BG I have are the Organic AIOs. They are super trim and I really like them. The FB I used were OS and were good but I would def pic the BG. The FB were bulkier.
I choose FB because I HATE the velcro on BG. The BG fit is very nice, but the velcro is terrible. I really like FB and reach for those and HH a lot. The FB don't get caught on anything in the wash like velcro diapers do. I will say, definitely start out with XS size. I started with smalls and they didn't even fit well at 2 months. They were too big. Even now, the hip snaps are set at the 2nd tightest and the waist is still set the tightest. So if starting with a newborn, I'd need XS size. Another nice thing about FB over the BG is that you can usually leave the insert in it once it's dirty and it will come out in the wash - not so with the BG.
However, if you want to bring a 3rd diaper into your mix, HH are nice if velcro is more your thing.
Re: Fuzzi Bunz or Bum Genius? Pick one and why? Advice?!
