NBR: Anyone been to Cedar Point lately?

DH and I are considering going at the end of August... Anyone been lately? Was it crowded?  Where did you stay? Did you go for one day or two?  I haven't been since I was about 14 but I liked it then and we both love rollar coasters so we're thinking of making a weekend out of it. What did you think?

August will be VERY crowded, not to mention hot.

I usually go for just one day, but we used to go every year. I go in October for the halloweekends.Less people and not as hot.

If I hadnt been in a bit Id probably go for 2 days. That way you can spent time at cedar point and at soak city. You almost need 2 days in August with how long the lines get

Ugh, I wish! We usually go EVERY year, multiple times a year, but since I'm KU we're not going this year. I have my mom all lined up to watch LO next summer so we can go for sure! My suggestion though is to go in the middle of the week, it's not as crowded. I won't even go to Cedar Point on a weekend, to me it's a waste of time & money because you only get to go on like 3 things.
