Is there a way to get ink out of a couch?

DD has been wanting to write with a pen on her little notebook.  My mistake apparently because I just found a spot where she wrote on the couch (microsuede I think).  Is there anything that will get it out or should I just buy a couch cover which DH has been suggesting we do for all the couches?  It's not on a part that can come off and be washed.

    Just try wiping it with a baby wipe. ?A friend of mine has that microsuede material and I have seen her wipe both crayon and pen of the couch with a single baby wipe. ?I don't know if it is treated with anything special.?

    I got a really old magic marker spot off of my couch (black marker on cream fabric) with Woolite PowerShot. Didn't even have to scrub!
