Boon Frog Pod- anyone have this? Need to organize bath toys.

It's on sale on Amazon for $22.  It seems really popular but is it *that* great? I need something to help me organize her toys but I don't know if I really need to spend $22 to help me do that. Any huge raves? And why? Or other (cheaper) suggestions that work for you?

  • We have it!  I like how easy it is to scoop the toys and it has a ledge on top for shampoo and stuff!

  • I don't know how your bathroom is constructed, but if you have any type of tile other than smooth porcelain tile, it won't stick. ?My friends had it and had a textured tile in their bathroom, it wouldn't stay up. ?Other than that, I don't know much about it.
  • We have it and love it!  It comes with 3 different options for hanging.  We just use the suction cups and have never had a problem, but I'd imagine that one of the other methods would work.  It's pretty big though.  I saw that Target had a smaller Boon that was shaped as a ladybug.

  • Yeah anything with those suctions cups wont stay up if you have tile in your bathtub.

  • We have it, but it's much bigger than we expected and doesn't hold as much as we thought it would.

It also gets mildew if it's not dried or scrubbed regularly.

  • It just won't stick  :(  I have a white cabinet in our bathroom and there is space underneath.  I have a basket in that space and after the toys dry, I just throw them in there.

  • We have one, and love it. We even have a textured tub, but we just used the stickies that they provide to stick it to the tub wall. I haven't noticed the mildew issue in ours, and it holds all of the Boon foam shapes that come with it plus at least 6 different rubber duckies.

  • I have one that is triangle shaped and sits at the corner of the tub / suctions to the tile wall.  It's all mesh.  I just toss her toys in there and they drain out overnight.  They are always dry by the next bath!
  • I bought the Fisher Price Precious Planet toy holder.  It was ten bucks, fits in the corner of the shower and is mesh so everything dries well.  It is a good size; we were able to get a fair amount of stuff in it.  It has suction cups, though, so it may not work on all surfaces, but we have found it is very sturdy on our tile.

Ditto! And the toys are able to drain
