Sort of baby related re: displaying pictures

What do you do about displaying pictures at your house and/or office?  I have quite a few framed pictures of Camryn and photos of our family hanging and displayed on our mantle and a bookcase at our house.  I also have several sets of frames at my office.  I'm definitely running out of room at my house; I still have some space at my office.  What do you guys do about pictures?  Do you replace the older ones with newer pictures?  Keep buying new frames and trying to find new places to display them?  At some point, you obviously have to draw the line, but for some reason I get sad about putting a new picture over an old one.  And then what do you do with the old one, leave it in the frame, put in a box, etc.?

Just curious what everybody else does and I'm working on my LB order and trying to figure out where to put new pictures!

Right now I only have her professional photos up on the walls but I'm running out of room for those (without my walls looking cluttered).  I do really need to start putting of other photos (like with family members and so forth) but I figure I post those on our blog for everyone to see and make digital photo books.  If you already have the photo in a photo album or saved electronically, I would probably just toss the one you replace (since you have it stored in another place -- definitely don't get rid of it if you don't!).  As we accumulate more photos on our walls, I plan to scale down the number I have from each age bracket.  I'll probably always want a birth, 6 mo., 1 yr. etc. up; I just won't keep 5 of each up.

I know it is hard. But I do replace many of the old ones and just put them in albums. It stinks....but I cant display every single one.

There are so many pictures and so little space anymore. I bet it is going to be even harder when yuo have 2!

I know, it is going to be harder with two!  I guess I'm going to look for an album that will hold 8 x 10's so I can put the old ones in it...I paid money for them so I'm not really comfortable with just throwing them away, KWIM?

I am already starting to have the same problem!  I hate taking down any of the older ones, but I'm running out of room so I'm going to have to.  Good idea to look for an album that holds larger prints too - I'm going to look for one of those!  I have tons of PI prints that I never put up because I just had so many.

Good point.  I won't be tossing the 8x10 and so forth that I paid extra for.  I was thinking more photos that I just print at Walgreens etc.
