Hi Ladies!!
this is my first month off of BC. Prior to going on harmones, I was pretty regular 28-day cycle and I am hoping that after 7 years my body will go back into sync.
According to a fertility calculator, my fertile days this month are the 18-21. I am running a mild temp of 99.3 and my mucus is thinning. Ummm, could this be a sign that I beginning to ovulate??
Re: Stupid Q for beginner
Regular cycles mean very little in the ttc game. And to be honest - fertility/ovulation calculations are useless.
The only way to figure out when you o is to track basel body temps (and backing that up with OPK or a CBEFM helps).
www.fertilityfriend.com and read Taking Charge of your Fertility. Both very useful tools.
If your CM is stretchy that might mean ovulation - but again without any bb temps it is impossible to know.
GL!
Thanks so much for your explanation.
I have just recieved the book Taking Charge of your Fertility from a friend, but haven't gotten to read too much of it because of working such late hours lately.
Oh great you already have it. It is a super read and very helpful.
I was told by my dr in my 20's that I ovulated every cycle due to 3 internal US I had to track my ovarian cysts. Seems we happen to catch it every time. I just hope those darn overies behave and still act "young" LOL
Hi and good luck!
Cat already gave you the advice I would have given.
She's absolutely right about being regular not meaning a dang thing. My cycle runs like clock work, and yet I have high FSH, which indicates low ovarian reserve. (still waiting on the second set of blood tests which will tell us more).
Look's like Cat's already got you covered. She's one of our "unofficial" resident charting gurus!!
I just wanted to chime in and wish you good luck!!!
