    My MW told me that she doesn't have a crystal ball and doesn't want to give me false hope.

    You're lucky!!! I'm sick to death of getting excited, only to be told at the next appointment I've back-tracked!

    I would tell my OB he's full of shiit. I won't trust my OB if he says this after everything I've heard on the bump!! Unless my water broke, I won't get my hopes up of labor happening.

    My friend went to see her OB at 37 weeks because she was so incredibly uncomfortable and just didn't feel right.  She was told she was in early labor, so she went ahead and quit her job (she was planning to stay til she popped) and went home to rest and wait the day or two the doctor said it would be. 

    She had to be induced, baby was born at 40 weeks 1 day.
