So now you can get a treatment to make your eyelashes grow longer and thicker, some side effects include eye issues, brown pigmentation of the eyes, irritation. IT'S A PRESCRIPTION!!! brought to you by the makers of Botox....jeez. Am I the only one that thinks that is way beyond necessary?? I think we have 8bazillion mascaras on the market that do the same damn thing.

Better yet, no insurance is going to pay for it.  Its cosmetic!  Stoopid IMO.

yeah i said the same thing when i saw the commercial for the first time. AND it's a new product that longitudinal tests haven't gathered enough info from yet, so there is DEFINITELY no way i would use it (if i had an eyelash issue) near my eyeballs! and brooke shields looked like she was wearing fake lashes anyways in the commercial

That is so ridiculous.  I can't believe Brooke Shields is the spokeswomen for it too... I thought she was better than that!

Lol..... I have about 3-4 patients per week coming in to request a prescription for that.  They are all SUPRISED when I tell them "sure, but your insurance will not cover it"

 That being said I do have a few patients with Alopeica areata (a condition that causes hair loss sometimes including eyebrows and eylashes) and we are trying it on a few patients with this.

Don't worry, I'm right there with ya! I would love to have longer, fuller eyelashes... mine are really short and thin. DD has better lashes than me, for real! But, just like you, we don't have money for that kind of stuff. Boohoo! lol.
