Favorite Beach Reads?

We are spending next week at the beach with family. Since there will be so many adults I will actually have time to sit down and read. I want chick lit type books, nothing heavy or really sad. I have my kindle so I can just download them when we get there, but I just don't feel like searching through thousands of books to find one. Reccomend your favorite.

I like all of Elin Hilderbrand's books. They all take place on Nantucket so they're perfect for beach reads. They're light but I'd say a step up from chick lit.

Summer Sisters by Judy Blume is my favorite!  I also love the books by Emily Giffin.

Sail Away.  Collection of excerpts from short stories, novels, etc.  Part of Kon Tiki is in there, 10000 leagues under the sea, bunch of other stuff.

I love the Emily Giffin books.  They are light and fun and require pretty much no thought without being too cheesy and predictable.

I just read White Tiger and I really liked it.  I guess you wouldn't call it light but it's a quick read.  Funny and interesting.
