Need help deciding if I should feed our son organic. I asked the doctor and they said it isnt regulated enough. Does anyone feed their baby organic? Is it really better for baby? Does it mean he needs to eat organic for the rest of his life?
We did exclusively for baby food and still do on some fruits and veggies and meats. I don't know if it made a difference because I only have my one child but my son is really healthy. He has only had the sniffles a few times in the 2 and 1/2 years he's been alive. He has always been a really good eater and eats all kinds of fruits and veggies. In fact sometimes we have to hold off giving him fruits and veggies because he will fill up on those. He has been 90% in size and weight since 32 weeks and still there.
Now my cousins son who did not eat poorly buu t did not eat organic has been to the er for stomach flu and being really sick several times. Another friend's ds has been sick a lot more too. I don't know if it was exclusively organic or just that we really paid attention to what our son ate.
Lastly you do not have to feed exclusively organic ever or for the rest of their life you're the parent you decide. Just read labels very closely even organic. I once was in a bind and grabbed some gerber and didn't realize until later that it had added sugar lots of it. And organic doesn't mean sugar free either.
