Working Moms

The downside of working remotely as a new mom...

Is that the bed is RIGHT upstairs, and DD is still not sleeping through the night. ?And she's at daycare so I can get some work done, so I *could* take a nap. ?

Thank heavens I have some concalls to keep me awake. ?I swear I'd pass out if not for that.

Bad Grrly. ?Bad, bad Grrly.?

  • I had to lay down in my pump room here at work yesterday...I was so tired I was getting a migraine.

If I'd been at home I would have curled up in bed in a heartbeat.

  • I remember a few days of closing my office door and lying on the floor to shut my eyes.  Hey, you do what you need to do.
  • I totally take naps! I figure it's better to take a 30 or even 60 min power nap than struggle to stay awake all afternoon! And I can catch up in the evening if I need to.

  • I fell asleep pumping one. I pumped for an hour. Thank goodness I didn't have any meetings.
