what would you do??

DS is pretty verbal and honest most of the time.  He goes to an inhome DC lady who is state licensed andbeen doing it for many many years.  I trust her completely, but DS has said twice now that she "hit" him.  I don't know if it was pats on the back to get his attention or actual smacks on the back.  No marks or anything, and he really is happy going there and all.  One time he was going down for nap, talking to loudly and he said he "hit" his back.  No crying.  Today was the other time.  He was throwing toys in her bushes and he said she "hit' him.  Again, he said he didn't cry.  Now this is all coming from a 3 year old.  I don't think accusing her is the best thing to do.  How would you handle this?

Can you tell her he said he got in trouble but leave out the hitting part and ask what happened and how she handled it?
