Ugh! I thought I was in the clear...

I took the GD test back on 6/29 and never heard anything so I figured I was in the clear.  No such luck.  The doctor's office just called and I have to go in on Friday for the 3-hour test.   I'm not worried.  I know a lot of people fail the 1-hour and pass the 3-hour, but it just sucks to have to go and sit there all morning while the vampires come and take my blood periodically....

Wow, I'm surprised they waited until this late to call. I was told I'd hear back in 2 days. What the heck? Anyway, so sorry, and I hope your 3 hour test goes well!

holy crap, 2 weeks later?

 I haven't heard from mine in over a week & a half, so I'm guessing I am in the clear.

I was surprised by the delay as well.  They said they were on vacation last week, but still.  You'd think they'd be a little more on top of test results.  I'm just going to take it as a sign that they are not overly concerned about it and neither should I.

Do you know how much "over" you were in the one hour? Just asking.... best of luck for the 3 hour. I wouldn't wish GD on anyone. Thoughts with you!!

Man, I hate to hear that.. I took mine on Mon and had not heard anything so thought I was in the clear - discouraging to know that it could be several days or a week later...

Normally I'm one of those people that numbers stick in their heads, but I was so distracted that the doctor's office was calling, I didn't pay close enough attention.  I'm pretty sure they said that their acceptable range was 70-something to low 140's (I think she said 142).  I know for sure that I was a 158.
