If your girl wears leggings in the fall/winter

What do you do for shoes socks? There are a couple of tunics with leggings that I want to get DD for pre school and I'm not sure what to do about shoes. There are a couple pairs of flats that will work until there is snow, but what kind of socks? Do they make no show socks for 3yo?

My DD1 only wears leggings if all her tights are dirty.  I don't think about socks/shoes - she has too much opinion for me to put up the effort.

When it gets too cold for no socks, I usually go to boots.

I do leggings with just regular fold down socks (like from Gap) and either plain white Keds sneakers or mary jane type shoes.  They look fine with socks showing.

This. My DD had some mary-jane looking sneakers from stride rite that went with just about everything.

I've been looking for no show socks too. I hate the look of socks with shorts.

I usually do boots, too when she can't wear socks anymore.  Or if she isn't wearing mary jane type shoes, she just wears the socks under the leggings.  But I do buy R some low cut socks for summer to wear with tennis shoes and shorts at Target in the bigger girls section.  The smallest size fit her last year even.
