Why the hell do they make things so hard to open?

I was trying to open a stupid little packet of salad dressing... I am sure you can see where this is going...

Every time I try to open a jar, like spaghetti sauce or pickles, I remember why I'm so glad I have my husband.  "N. can you open this for me?"

Oh I am the queen of getting stuff on me while opening anything.  If DH is around he usually takes it out of my hand to open or tells me to go change first.  I hope it wasn't red or oily?

This is why I always carry a Tide stick with me wherever I go. Seriously. In the span of 5 days, I wore two different white cardigans. One ended up with diet coke all over it (thank you lid that didn't work) and the other ended up with coffee all over it (thank you to the other lid that didn't work). What is it with me, white and bad lids?

I feel ya'!  I had a big fight with a bottle of wine on the weekend; my DH finally got it open with pliers...WTF is that???
