Does anyone have a good way to organize and store their milk (in bags) in the deep freeze? I've seen the "girft bag" storage method, but I think I need something that will stack easier, like maybe some boxes or something. Anyone have any creative solutions?? TIA!
Re: How do you store your milk in the deep freeze?
I agree that the gift bag isn't as great as everyone says. Mine are always falling. The only thing I can think is to freeze the milk in it's individual bag so it freezes flat. Then put it in the gift bag. I haven't tried though. Hope you get better suggestions!
First I freeze the bags flat. Then once I have about 10 or so in my regular freezer, I put them into a larger/heavy deep freezer bag and write down the amount of oz's total in that bag and also the date ranges of the milk inside.
I think this is what I'm envisioning working for me, but I've yet to find a good box that will fit them but not take up my entire freezer. Maybe I'll go look at another store.... or the big freezer bag idea sounds do-able too.
Thanks for the suggestions ladies!
