Yes, it SEEMS right. My point is that person B will most likely hold it over person A's head later anyway. Person A did not imply it was a gift. I know it doesn't make sense. Person B is a little nuts. I wish I could go into more detail but in light of recent events I would say it's not wise.

ditto the confusion...but since the money was due (as a payback) then I would def take the money. That person would have no reason to hold that over your head...
If this person is paying you back money that is rightfully owed to you, then yes, of course I'd take it. If she owes you then how can she hold that over your head?
