I have seen that a lot of Bumpies have raved about Magnadoodle-style toys for their LO's, but I decided to buy one and noted that the recommended age is 3 and up for all of the ones I saw. Have you found other ones for younger children? Or is it not a safety thing but a developmental thing that makes them call it a 3 and up toy?
Re: Magnadoodle-type toys...age?
Hannah has one, but I took out the little pieces that are magnet "stamps" because she had them in her mouth. but she totally loves to draw on her magnadoodle.

DD2 loved DD1's that she got for her b-day. She was 10 mo and tried to put the "pen" in her mouth. We got her an auqadoodle which is more appropriate, but she only sucked the water out of those "pens".
I am buying 2 for our trip tomorrow.
This one is 18 months:

This is the one we have. DD is really into it now.
