Create our middle name from James/Jim & Melissa?

We can not decide on a middle name. DH wants James which is his name, my step dad's name, and my biological dads name. OK i know it should be a no brainer that we chose it, but I wanted to highlight other special family members to me..instead of just doing it after DH cause the baby will already have his last name. So we thought maybe we can create a boy's middle name out of our 2 names......but we can't come up with anything ...can you. Thanks for the suggestions.

Ok, I am kidding but I am not a fan of combining names. Are you going to have more than one child? If so maybe you can get to honor your family with the next one.

Jamie- it's kinda unisex and uses the Jam from your DH and the Me from your name. You gotta think about what the media would call you if you and DH were Hollywood couple of the moment... Those are hard names to combine. What are your middle names? What about your maiden name for a middle name? I dated a guy that ended up with the mn Starr because of that.... I like unique- non trendy- middle names cause there's usually a story....

I was going to say Jamie as well. Or you could go with Jaime- the spanish version pronounced Hi-may. Which is what DH calls DS sometimes.

I would use James. I really like that name. You can save Melissa if you have a daughter in the future.?

I thought maybe there was a name that we hadn't thought of. yeah I've over it. We'll probably just go with James....I just would never give my daughter melissa as a middle name so why should we make james our son's mn? maybe it's a guy thing? thanks for your thoughts.
