KRLD just posted their Restaurant Week restaurants. ?It's $35 for a three course meal at some GREAT restaurants! ?Some have an extra fourth course with a coupon from Central Market. ?Might be fun to get a group together! ?

If so, we would need to decide a restaurant and number of people and book quickly, as the reservations always fill up quickly. ?Check out the website at

YAY!  I'm in!  I'll check out the site later this afternoon.  But I haven't been anywhere here (besides Sonic & bnljane's great place) so I'm up for whatever as long as it's not too far south since I'll be in Frisco soon soon soon

I'd love to do this if our schedules permit on whichever day works for everyone else. I *think* if I am looking at the schedule right though, that I would probably only be available on Wednesday or Friday that week, but I could be wrong.....

I would love to do this but it would depend on scheduling.  my suggestion for location would be III Forks, Fearing's, or Stephan Pyles though I am happy to go anywhere, I am not picky

FYI - DH and I just tried to make reservations for ourselves and some of these places are already booking up so it would be best to decide soon!

Please let me know when the date is chosen.....I'll see what I can do about getting off....I'm pretty much up for any restaurant.....for the most part, I love all food - I'm an equal opportunity eater.

Some restaurants extend it for longer than the one week = times may be more flexible in the following week.   Just think it's worth checking on.

I don't get off of work until 6pm so I would prefer something later than that.  I would prefer Wed over Tues b/c DH is working overnight in the hospital that Wed but even if it was another night I am sure I could still go.  only night I can't go is Thurs Aug 20

My cousin used to work at Craft (in Los Angeles) and he said that the food is good but not great. I have read similar reviews online about it too.  That said, I would still go there b/c like bnljane, I just love to eat

I wanna go!! I am not picky as to where, I haven't been to any of those places. I vote for Wednesday too, Tuesday is DH and my 2nd wedding anniversary.

 

Edit: I also vote for one of the northern towns, Frisco, Plano, Richardson, ect. Mostly because driving though Dallas scares the piss out of me!! lol

Yes, me too.  I think Wednesday will work for me, I may have to bail if it's after orchestra has started again and MIL's piano lessons.  I'll have to check.

while that's obviously subjective (and DH and I haven't been to all of the gazillion different great restaurants in Dallas) no matter where we go, we always end up saying that the best place is Fearing's.  we never leave there disappointed.

I would love to try other places too, though. I'd just like to go somewhere that is generally pretty expensive, that way the $35 is a better deal (plus we get to try a restaurant we might not go to otherwise)

why don't we pick another night then? it runs for more than one week at a lot of the restaurants.... the following Thurs would work well for me.
